Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS or equivalent certification required upon hire.
• Previous healthcare experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Promptly recognizes changes in patient behavior, risk factors, or mental status.
• Constantly observes care environment to ensure safe room guidelines are met.
• Notify facility care partners and/or supervisor of patient status.
• Monitor the EPIC dashboard for new assignments.
• Maintain direct visibility and observation of patients.
• Document patient behavior every 15 minutes for behavioral health and every 2 hours for medical patients.
