Job summary

Digitech, part of the Sarnova family, is seeking a Patient Research Specialist to ensure EMS PCRs and insurance data are accurate for claim coding and billing. The role supports a fast-paced workflow, requires strong research skills, and emphasizes precision and timely reimbursement.

Responsibilities include reviewing PCRs, verifying coverage, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies. This position is remote, offering a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work remotely in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong data accuracy and attention to detail in PCR review.
• Professional communication with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Review EMS patient care reports (PCRs) for accuracy and completeness.
• Research and verify insurance information using internal and external resources.
• Validate demographic data and correct any missing identifiers.
• Confirm insurance eligibility and payer sequencing to support billing and claims.
• Collaborate with Coding, QA, Client Services, and other billing teams to ensure workflow smoothness.
• Maintain productivity targets and meet daily/weekly client volumes.
