Job summary

IQVIA is recruiting for a Patient Support Medical Billing Representative in a 100% remote US role. You will handle co-pay cards, vouchers, and claims support, review documentation, and apply program rules to determine pay status.

This contract position is with IQVIA and offers potential for full-time conversion. Responsibilities include receiving medical claims from providers or patients, interpreting EOBs, and ensuring HIPAA compliance while meeting daily productivity targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Medical Billing program or degree or license required.
• Experience in claim processing required.
• Ability to interpret EOBs required.
• Insurance verification experience required.
• Experience with payment postings required.
• Call center/customer service experience required.
• Background in revenue cycle preferred.
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) preferred.
• Experience with secondary/tertiary billing preferred.
• Familiarity with complex insurance scenarios preferred.
• Experience with multi-layered billing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive medical claims from HCPs or patients and verify documentation.
• Interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and CMS-1500 forms.
• Evaluate claims against program-specific business rules to approve or reject.
• Maintain organizational skills to manage daily workload.
• Provide support to customer inquiries via phone, email, fax, or other channels.
• Identify operational challenges and suggest solutions to management.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Prioritize tasks effectively throughout the day.
• Meet daily productivity and quota expectations.
• Work 40 hours per week under moderate supervision.
