Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive medical claims from providers or patients and verify documentation.
• Review explanations of benefits and CMS-1500 forms for accuracy.
• Evaluate claims against program rules to determine payment or denial.
• Maintain organized workload and meet daily productivity targets.
• Provide support via phone, email, or fax and respond to inquiries.
• Identify operational issues and suggest improvements to management.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and protect patient information.
• Prioritize tasks and manage a 40-hour workweek under supervision.
