Qualifications

• Two years of financial experience or one year of patient accounts experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Hospital Billing Denials Resolution with Medicaid payers.
• 2+ years of experience in Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle Operations.
• 2+ years of experience with various payers and payer websites.
• 2+ years of analytical skills and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Billing payers and/or clients for hospital and/or Professional Patient Accounts.
• Resolves payer rejections daily to bill submit hospital and/or physician claims.
• Performs follow-up activities and identifies reimbursement issues.
• Appeal claims as appropriate and update account information in Epic Resolute.
• Maintain communication with customers, colleagues, and vendors; work in a team.
