Job summary

Rothman Orthopaedics is hiring a Patient Access Coordinator for a remote-eligible role servicing the Orlando area. The position handles incoming calls, triages patient needs, and schedules messages. You must live within 50 miles of 265 E Rollins St, Orlando, FL 32804 and have reliable internet.

On-site work may be required based on attendance and performance. Pay ranges from $18 to $22 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of high-volume call center experience.
• Must live within 50 miles of 265 E Rollins St, Orlando, FL 32804.
• Intermediate computer skills required.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred; healthcare experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls in a fast-paced environment.
• Serve as the first point of contact for patients needing assistance.
• Create patient records, triage calls, and schedule messages as needed.
• Maintain department productivity to meet monthly quality and scorecard targets.
• Escalate calls to supervisors or other departments as needed.
• Answer questions about patient appointments.
• Assist on additional lines as assigned.
• Follow policies, procedures, and scripting to ensure call-time and quality standards.
