Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Patient Access Optimization Analyst to configure and support access optimization initiatives, including Epic-build related functions. The role requires strong analytical ability, Excel/SQL skills, and experience with Epic Cadence and scheduling in ambulatory settings.

The position is remote with Central time hours (8AM-5PM). The pay range is described and compensation will reflect qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare access optimization or Epic build support.
• Proficient with Excel and SQL for data analysis.
• Experience with Epic Cadence and patient scheduling preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage small to mid-size projects.
• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Ambulatory and/or Surgery scheduling experience required.
• Ability to analyze complex technical solutions.
• Ability to work in a remote, time-zone aligned environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support access optimization initiatives.
• Provide functional and technical Epic-build support.
• Analyze and document requirements and solutions.
• Engage stakeholders through clear written and oral communications.
• Manage small to medium projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Create and maintain documentation for processes and models.
• Assist in data extraction and reporting using Excel/SQL.
• Collaborate with teams across departments to achieve goals.
