Amgen is seeking a Senior Associate Paralegal to provide patent docketing support and maintain U.S. and foreign patent records. You will coordinate patent prosecution activities and work with attorneys, agents, and external providers to keep matters on track.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent IP docketing experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years IP docketing experience or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree with 6 years IP docketing experience or equivalent.
• High school diploma with 8 years IP docketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Open new patent matters in IPMS with filing dates and docket data.
• Review correspondence from patent offices and outside counsel; docket events.
• Monitor dockets, follow up on deadlines, escalate issues as needed.
• Document actions, contacts, and follow-up in IPMS.

Education

Master’s degree

Bachelor’s degree + 2 years IP docketing experience

Associate’s degree + 6 years IP docketing experience

High school diploma / GED + 8 years IP docketing experience
