Job summary

The Training Specialist IV reports to the Manager of the IDD and PASRR Training and Curriculum Development Unit and delivers PASRR training to Local Authority staff. This role develops curriculum, uses adult-learning techniques, and may present in virtual or large conference settings.

Travel across Texas is expected, and the candidate should be able to work independently while representing the agency professionally. Telework may be available per policy.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the PASRR process, MI and IDD services and related programs.
• Knowledge of adult training principles and instructional design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops training materials and curriculum.
• Delivers training in person or virtual settings.
• Gathers feedback for course improvements.
• Maintains training records and reports.
• Travels across Texas to provide training.
