Job summary

Play Academy is seeking a proactive, organized, and experienced Part-Time Recruiter to assist with our ongoing hiring needs across multiple markets. This fully remote position prefers candidates within the Eastern Time zone. The role involves owning day-to-day recruiting processes, creating and managing requisitions, sourcing candidates, and moving applicants through the hiring pipeline.

The position is approx. 2 hours per day / up to 10 hours per week, with a $250 flat weekly rate.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or HR.
• Able to conduct candidate interviews independently.
• Experience creating and managing job postings and requisitions.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open positions.
• Proactive in refreshing postings and generating new candidate activity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating with candidates by phone, email, and/or text.
• Independent worker with limited day-to-day supervision.
• Experience recruiting for multiple states/markets.
• Paycom experience is a plus.
• Availability to work within Eastern Time business hours preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, post, and manage job requisitions/job breakdowns based on current hiring needs
• Review and refresh older job postings to increase visibility and candidate activity
• Source and identify qualified candidates for open positions
• Review applications and resumes
• Conduct initial candidate interviews and screenings
• Evaluate candidates for qualifications, availability, professionalism, and overall fit
• Coordinate next-step interviews with company leadership when needed
• Follow up with candidates throughout the recruiting process
• Maintain an organized pipeline of active candidates and open positions
• Close, update, or repost positions as hiring needs change
• Assist with hiring across multiple locations and markets
• Provide regular updates on open positions, candidate activity, interviews, and hiring progress
• Help identify positions that may require additional recruiting attention or a change in strategy
• Maintain consistent communication with the Play Academy team regarding recruiting needs and priorities
