Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Marine Engineer/Naval Architect for a part-time remote position supporting the USNS Waters. The role involves reviewing technical specs for repairs, ensuring compliance with standards, and coordinating with sponsor managers and contractors.

Regular travel to Port Canaveral and other CONUS sites is required. The ideal candidate has a BS in marine engineering or naval architecture and at least five years in maritime roles, with DoD-clearance

Qualifications

• BS degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or related field.
• Minimum five years in maritime roles.
• Knowledge of maritime regulations and compliance.
• Experience reviewing vessel repair specs for compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review technical specifications for repairs and modifications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with sponsor programs, MSC Port Engineers and contractors.
• Travel to Port Canaveral and other CONUS locations as required.
