The Undersea Technology Portfolio, within SPA's Sea, Land, & Air Division, conducts rigorous and objective analyses to enable the Navy and other DoD organizations to make decisions, plans, and strategies to deliver emerging technologies and warfighting capabilities. We support clients across the undersea, naval special warfare, and expeditionary warfare enterprises, including those within resourcing and requirements, acquisition, and science and technology.
SPA is seeking an engineer to support NAVSEA's Naval Special Warfare Program Office.
Provide engineering and technical support for Naval Special Warfare systems and programs, including assisting with system integration, testing, troubleshooting, configuration updates, documentation development, data analysis, and coordination with government engineers and fleet stakeholders. Support engineering reviews, track technical issues, contribute to system lifecycle activities, and ensure alignment with applicable Navy standards and program requirements.
Work is fully onsite in Panama City, FL.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field and 5-10 years of relevant engineering experience.
Experience supporting system testing, integration, or technical analysis in a DoD or Navy environment.
Proficiency with engineering documentation, technical tools, and problem‑solving in a structured systems environment.
Experience supporting Navy systems, training systems, or fleet operational commands.
Familiarity with systems engineering processes, configuration management, and requirements tracking.
Background with test planning, data collection, or technical evaluation of complex systems.
