Job summary

SuperSummary is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic partnerships. You will own the accounting end-to-end, including monthly close and revenue recognition, while overseeing ChargeBee and Stripe billing workflows.

The role emphasizes partnership with the CEO and VP of Operations, building financial models, dashboards, and insights to guide investments and growth in a remote, SaaS-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience in SaaS or subscription business.
• Hands-on FP&A depth: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Fluency in SaaS/subscription metrics — MRR/ARR, churn, LTV, CAC, payback, and net dollar retention.
• Experience with subscription billing platforms (ChargeBee, Stripe) and accounting software (QuickBooks).
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification; strong remote-communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process end-to-end, ensuring accurate financial statements.
• Manage revenue recognition under ASC 606 / IFRS 15, including deferred revenue and chargebacks.
• Oversee ChargeBee/Stripe billing operations and GL integration.
• Partner with leadership on budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
• Create runbooks and documentation for repeatable finance processes.
