Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking an experienced RFP/Grant Writer to support a law-firm client specializing in public-sector and government work. The role is fully remote and runs 15-20 hours per week, offering flexible scheduling for part-time staffing needs.

You will lead the development of compelling, compliant proposals, RFP responses, and grant applications, working closely with attorneys and leadership to translate complex legal capabilities into client-focused messaging.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of proposal, RFP, grant, or professional-services writing experience.
• Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
• Experience with government/public-sector RFPs is strongly preferred.
• Experience in a law firm, legal services, government contracting, or other professional services is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate with attorneys and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage and write responses to RFPs, RFQs, grants, and government solicitations.
• Partner with attorneys and firm leadership to develop persuasive proposal content.
• Research public-sector opportunities and understand submission requirements and deadlines.
• Translate complex legal experience into clear client-focused messaging.
• Maintain and update proposal templates, bios, and reusable content.
• Coordinate the proposal process from initial opportunity through final submission.
• Ensure submissions are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.
