Job summary

VLN Education is seeking a Part-Time Grading Teacher certified in all subjects to support our full-time staff in a fully remote virtual learning environment. You will grade student work, provide constructive feedback, and help improve student outcomes while working as an independent contractor.

This role offers flexibility in hours and an emphasis on timely feedback, with a 72-hour grading turnaround. Prior virtual grading experience is beneficial; a valid teaching certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Valid teaching certificate in any subject; multiple certifications are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in education.
• Experience grading and giving feedback in a virtual environment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality grading standards.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive learning environment for students and foster engagement.
• Identify areas where students need additional support and provide targeted instruction.
• Grade student work and provide timely, constructive feedback within 72 hours.
