Job summary

Democratic Socialists of America Cincinnati is seeking a part-time fundraising coordinator to advance the chapter's fundraising goals. The role is a ~20-hour-per-week, 13-week independent contractor position with an hourly rate of $20.

You will develop strategies, conduct donor outreach, manage digital campaigns, arrange events, write compelling copy, and keep CRM records up to date, reporting to the Steering Committee and working with the Treasurer and Co-Chairs to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with donor calls or pledge chasing.
• Experience coordinating in-person fundraising events.
• Familiarity with digital fundraising tools (ActionNetwork, EveryAction).

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic fundraising plan for the chapter.
• Conduct donor calls and pledge chasing to secure contributions.
• Plan, write, and execute small-dollar digital fundraising campaigns.
• Coordinate logistics for fundraising events and activities.
• Write copy for landing pages, emails, ads.
• Maintain the donor CRM and records.
