Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) seeks an experienced Environmental Compliance Specialist to support a Nevada mining operation. You will oversee water and lands compliance programs and ensure permit obligations are met while addressing regulatory reporting with state and federal agencies.

The position is part-time (20–30 hours per week) for six weeks, with potential extension. You will collaborate with site personnel, regulators, and project teams to maintain compliance and provide

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of environmental compliance experience in mining or large industrial operations.
• Demonstrated experience with Nevada mining regulations and permitting requirements.
• Strong knowledge of WPCPs, NDEP regs, BLM regs, and reclamation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and administration of site Water and Lands compliance programs.
• Assist with compliance obligations under Nevada WPCPs and permit conditions.
• Review, track, and support regulatory reporting to NDEP.
• Coordinate compliance activities with BLM authorizations and reclamation.
