Job summary

The Center for Inclusive Child Care in St. Cloud, MN is hiring part-time staff to provide relationship-based professional development and coaching to early care settings across Minnesota.

We seek candidates with 5 years of direct care in early childhood education, 3 years of mentoring or coaching, and knowledge of Minnesota licensing. Valid MN driver’s license is required, with pre-employment screening completed.

Qualifications

• 5 years of direct service in early childhood education.
• 3 years of mentoring, coaching, consultation, or technical assistance.
• Knowledge of Minnesota child care licensing and programmatic requirements in Minnesota.
• Must possess and maintain a valid MN state driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally sensitive RBPD and coaching to early care and education settings across Minnesota.
• Encourage collaboration between families, providers, and community programs.
• Provide coaching through modeling, goal setting, reflection and resource sharing focused on inclusion, health and safety and best practices for infants and toddlers.
• Work with educators to develop and implement action plans to meet ongoing goals.
• Assist those coached to structure environments, routines and interactions for positive social-emotional outcomes.
• Connect programs and families to CICC resources or community partners for external support.
