Job summary

Central Oregon Community College (COCC) seeks a Part-Time Instructor to deliver Carpentry Apprenticeship courses across campus locations and via interactive video chat. The role includes guiding student discussion, evaluating progress, and working with JATC partners to support hands-on learning.

Teaching may occur daytime or evenings, on multiple COCC campuses, and online. Candidates should have strong classroom management, clear English communication, and comfort with Zoom and the COCC LMS.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in apprenticeship trades.
• Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to work across multiple COCC campuses and online.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in apprenticeship trades courses in classroom, remote, or online delivery mode.
• Attend regular trainings and coordinate with department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
