Students will be prepared for apprenticeships, entry-level roles, or further study in construction management and skilled trades; courses run Tuesday evenings for 12 sessions (3 hours each) starting Spring 2027, paid at $40 per hour for 40

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in construction and/or construction teaching experience.
• Teaching experience (preferred)
• Excellent written and technical communication skills.

Job description

We are seeking an instructor to provide hands-on teaching building on the foundational skills established in Carpentry 1, this advanced course prepares students for real-world careers in the construction and woodworking trades. Students will tackle challenging hands‑on projects using professional‑grade tools and industry‑standard techniques that mirror real job‑site expectations.

Students who successfully complete the program will be well-positioned to pursue apprenticeships, entry‑level employment, or continued education in construction management, contracting, or the skilled trades.
