Job summary

Earlens is seeking a motivated Treatment Specialist to provide remote hearing healthcare services for Earlens devices. You will conduct hearing assessments, consultations, and recommendations through telemedicine, and document interactions in the electronic medical record.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Audiology or related field, an active CA Hearing Instrument Specialist license, and at least 2 years of fitting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Audiology, Hearing Science, or related field.
• CA state license to practice as a Hearing Instrument Specialist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hearing instrument fitting and dispensing.
• Experience with telehealth technology and remote patient care is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hearing assessments/ diagnostics using remote tech and interpret results for practice/patient.
• Provide remote counseling/ support to patients regarding hearing loss & the Virsono solutions available.
• Recommend, sell and fit appropriate Earlens solutions & air conduction systems for patients.
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record system.
• Assist with scheduling of all activities, work with local and national resources to support.
• Provide excellent patient care, proactive customer service while minimizing returns.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and referral sources as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in hearing technology and telehealth technology.
• Meet productivity and quality standards as set by the clinic.
