Benture is seeking an Audiobook QA Expert — English (US) to join our remote team on a part-time basis, about 20 hours per week. You will evaluate AI-generated narration in US English, log issues, and provide actionable feedback to improve models.

You will work with dedicated tooling to mark speech errors, rate naturalness, and assess listener experience. Strong attention to detail and clear written reporting are essential.

Candidates in regions where English is native or fluent are preferred.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native US English, with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written reporting and collaboration skills.
• Experience in annotation, labeling, transcription, or linguistics.

Responsibilities

• Listen to AI-narrated audiobooks and evaluate naturalness, accuracy and listener experience.
• Identify and log speech synthesis errors—skipped/added words, mispronunciations, wrong numbers, odd phrasing, artifacts.
• Categorize issues and mark precise audio spans using review tooling.
• Provide overall listener satisfaction assessments, noting natural vs disrupted narration.
• Maintain accuracy and focus across long listening sessions.
