Job summary

Post University is seeking an Associate Faculty member to teach MS in Special Education courses remotely. This part-time role involves delivering course material, engaging students, and ensuring outcomes are met for each semester.

Minimum qualifications include an Ed.D and/or Ph.D with relevant experience, ability to teach remotely, and official transcripts on file. Training is provided prior to teaching and ongoing for remote classroom tech.

Qualifications

• Have Ed.D and/or Ph.D and significant related experience in special education, education, or related field.
• Be available to teach remotely and meet students’ diverse needs.
• Have college transcripts (official) on file with Associate Experience to be considered for employment.
• Complete a training session prior to their first teaching assignment at Post University and follow-up semester remote classroom technology and teaching training.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Class Instruction. Teach the assigned class in accordance with learning outcomes and syllabi.
• Classroom Management. Adhere to Post University policies and engage students.
• Evaluate Student Performance. Administer evaluations and post grades in Blackboard Grade Center and WebReg.
• Adhere to Course Guidelines. Engage students and participate in discussions and assignments.
• Respond Promptly to Grade Determination. Submit grades according to established requirements.
• Input Final Grades in WebReg and into the Blackboard Grade Center.
