Job summary

Colgate University is seeking a Remote Part-Time Application Reader to support the Office of Admission in evaluating Early and Regular Decision applications. Readers will compute and gather data and perform holistic reviews with a reading partner, after thorough training on Colgate's admission process.

• Must be available for 20-25 hours Monday–Friday from 8am–5pm (EST) and occasional weekend assignments from mid-October through March 31.
• As remote employees, candidates must have their own computer and a stable internet connection.
• Competitive candidates will have strong math skills in addition to organizational and time management skills.
• Collaborative work experience and the ability to work with confidential information are essential.

Responsibilities

• Remote Part-Time Readers will provide critical support in the holistic assessment of Early and Regular Decision first-year applicants.
• Read and review applications, compute and gather quantitative data, and contribute to holistic summary comments with a reading partner.
