Job summary

Juna Financial Solutions is seeking an Experienced Accountant – Accounting Associate for a part-time, remote role (30 hours per week) within standard US business hours (8am–6pm EST). Compensation is $29–$32 per hour, with a focus on full-cycle accounting, GL, and client service across multiple entities.

You will work with QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace, and other cloud tools to deliver accurate financials, onboard new clients, and support revenue recognition and monthly closes in a

Qualifications

• Must live in the US.
• Minimum of an Associate degree in Accounting or Business.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive General Ledger accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Excel is a must. Advanced Excel skills (Power Query and/or Power BI) a plus.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Google Sheets
• Experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
• Quickbooks Pro Advisor or Quickbooks Pro Advisor Level 2 certifications (preferred)
• Experience with Double Keeper ShareFile, Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, BILL, FinOptimal, Right Tool, Fathom reporting or Ramp is a plus
• Experience and desire to manage multiple clients simultaneously
• Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment and the ability to pivot as needed
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Exceed client expectations by delivering accurate, timely financial info.
• Perform full cycle cash and accrual basis accounting including managing a/r, a/p, payroll and monthly close.
• Utilize cloud-based technologies such as QBO, BILL, Gusto, Ramp and Keeper.app.
• Assist with onboarding new clients and account cleanup.
• Tackle challenging tasks such as creating and maintaining complex revenue recognition schedules and reconciliations.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in accounting technology.
• Participate in team and one-on-one meetings and training sessions.
