Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Paralegal Specialist for a fully remote role to support the Litigation Services team. You will handle pleadings, discovery, medical record reviews, and coordination with clients and vendors, contributing to successful insurance defense outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as a paralegal in civil litigation, preferably in bodily injury or third‑party liability, with knowledge of Pennsylvania practices and e‑filing. A PA paralegal credential is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a paralegal in insurance defense is preferred.
• Experience with bodily injury and third‑party liability claims is preferred.
• Familiarity with Pennsylvania litigation practices and e‑filing is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial, arbitration, and mediation preparation.
• Draft, review, file, and serve pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents for attorney review and approval.
• Prepare and manage written discoveries, including drafting discovery requests and responses and coordinating document production.
• Review, organize, summarize, and maintain medical records, billing records, and other case-related documentation.
• Assist attorneys in evaluating injury-related claims through detailed review and analysis of medical records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, medical providers, expert witnesses, vendors, and opposing counsel to support case progression.
• Schedule and coordinate depositions, IMEs, expert witnesses, and other litigation-related events.
• Prepare exhibits, case summaries, witness files, and other materials in support of hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Handle electronic filing and service of legal documents in accordance with applicable court rules and procedures.
• Monitor case deadlines, court requirements, and litigation calendars to ensure timely and compliant case management.
