Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

Mid-size national insurance defense and civil litigation law firm seeks a full-time Paralegal with 5+ years of experience for our busy New Mexico office. The ideal candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, experienced, hardworking, enthusiastic, and team-oriented.

This is a full-time billable position with an annual billable hours requirement of 1,750 hours.

Please apply only if you have prior experience with insurance defense billing.

Job duties include preparing draft discovery and discovery responses, preparing subpoenas, procuring and following up on medical records requests, conducting investigative background checks on parties, social media research, corresponding with expert witnesses, and other paralegal duties.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of five years of insurance defense experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with New Mexico Civil Rules.
• Excellent communication, typing, computer, interpersonal skills, and professional appearance.
• Ability to work cooperatively with a diverse group of professionals.
