Job summary

Mission Lane LLC is seeking a Paralegal to own daily corporate legal work, from investor due diligence to governance, filings, and managing outside counsel relationships. Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, Corporate, this is a role designed to scale with the Legal team.

In this remote-capable role, you will support cross-functional teams, handle audits and diligence lists, and help streamline how legal work moves through the company.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of corporate and transactional experience, ideally in a large corporate legal department or law firm
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills in a deadline-driven environment
• Experience with corporate transactions, due diligence, and compliance
• Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships, including law firm billing
• Exemplary communication, research, and organizational skills
• Comfort working with AI tools and adopting new ways of working in legal operations
• Able to work fully remote, with periodic business travel and company gatherings

Responsibilities

• Run due diligence and audit requests from intake to close, gathering answers and keeping responses accurate and on schedule
• Support corporate governance, including preparing and maintaining documentation and filings
• Manage relationships with outside counsel and legal vendors, including invoices and budgets
• Partner with Finance, IT, Tax, Treasury, and People Team to streamline legal workflows
• Assist attorneys on commercial transactions and compliance matters with limited direction
• Grow into adjacent work as the function scales (Board coordination, legal research, drafting contracts)
