Job summary

BB Injury Law in West Virginia is seeking an experienced paralegal and case manager for a fully remote role supporting a personal injury practice. You will manage client intake, track medical records, and handle liens and subrogation with guidance from attorneys.

You will also draft demand packages, support settlement negotiations, and coordinate settlements, pleadings, discovery, and trial logistics while maintaining calendar discipline and timely communications with clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of WV plaintiff personal injury experience.
• Familiar with West Virginia Rules of Civil Procedure and Magistrate Court.
• Experience drafting demand packages and calculating special damages.
• Lien and subrogation experience.
• Comfort with West Virginia e-filing.
• Strong organization and a track record of meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Client intake, onboarding, and ongoing client communication.
• Track medical treatment and gather medical records and bills.
• Identify and resolve liens and subrogation claims (Medicaid, Medicare, ERISA, PEIA, hospital, and LOP).
• Draft demand packages and support settlement negotiations under attorney direction.
• Coordinate settlement disbursements.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions under attorney supervision.
• Calendar and track court deadlines, hearings, and trial dates.
• Coordinate depositions, exhibits, witnesses, and trial logistics.
