Qualifications

• AHIMA/AAPC coding certification maintained annually.
• 2+ years of ICD-10 and CPT coding experience, with focus in Palliative Care.
• 2+ years of experience with Windows and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assigns accurate diagnostic and procedure codes per documentation and guidelines for palliative care.
• Assigns CPT and ICD-10 codes to all services.
• Monitor work queues to ensure timely charging/coding of records.
