Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Specialist, Application Developer to build and deploy Palantir Foundry-based full-stack applications for enterprise users. You will create interactive UI components, data pipelines, and ontology-driven features, collaborating with stakeholders across IT and data teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
• 2+ years of front-end or full-stack development using Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop user-facing applications within Palantir Foundry, including forms, interactive UIs, workflows, and operational tools.
• Build full-stack logic and data pipelines using Foundry Code Repositories, including TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, and backend API integrations.
• Create ontology-based features such as Actions, object relationships, and role-aware workflow operations.
• Integrate UI components with backend datasets, pipelines, REST APIs, and ontology objects.
• Conduct business requirements gathering and UX design, prototyping, and iterative refinement of Foundry applications.
• Implement testing, debugging, release management, and lifecycle support within Foundry environments.
• Develop application documentation, user training materials, and usage guides.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and incorporate end-user feedback.
• Connect applications to reliable, well-governed data sources with data engineering teams.
• Apply data integration, ETL, and data modeling best practices across enterprise sources.
• Perform data validation and root cause analysis to ensure data integrity and solution quality.
• Support ongoing enhancement and maintenance of enterprise applications and analytics solutions.
