Job summary
Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a PaaS Database Automation Engineer Consultant to design, implement, and manage cloud-based database assets. This fully remote role is focused on automation, performance, maintenance, and security across Azure PaaS databases, including Cosmos DB provisioning.
Sponsorship is not available, including OPT status. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure SQL databases, automation tools like Ansible and Harness, and ITIL-aligned
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree and 6 years in Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 7 year Information Technology experience OR 9 years Information Technology experience
- Experience with Azure SQL databases, Azure SQL Managed Instances
- Automation experience with Ansible, Harness
- Experience with As a Service technologies
- Experience with Cloud Orchestration and Management technologies
- Experience with Monitoring and Event Management technologies
- Experience with Automation technologies
- Operations Management experience
- Experience with ITIL v3
- Experience with IT standards, procedures, policies
- Understanding of business priorities and industry trends
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage database assets in cloud environments
- Leverage enterprise automations and monitoring tools
- Customize cloud systems to meet performance, maintenance, and security requirements
- Participate in automation setup for infrastructure as code provisioning of PaaS databases
