Job summary

Barry University seeks a Summary Tutor to support PA students remotely who require tutoring services for the PA program. The tutor will study course objectives, prepare sessions, and work under the direction of the course director.

This role may be performed remotely or in person at the discretion of the student and tutor, using videoconferencing with screen sharing. A Bachelor's degree is required and a Master’s degree is preferred, with experience handling video conferencing equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• Remote tutoring with videoconferencing and screen sharing capabilities.
• Experience handling video conferencing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Study course objectives for subjects to be tutored.
• Tutor PA students in identified subjects as directed by course director.
• Conduct tutoring remotely or in person as agreed with the student.
• Record time spent with each student.
• Communicate progress with course directors and Assistant Program Director.
