Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Pharmacist (PA) to review clinical documentation and the Preferred Drug List to determine appropriate therapy. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to continually develop Utilization Management strategies.

This role emphasizes clinical evaluation, PA reviews, and cross-functional collaboration. Remote within the United States with flexible hours and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy required.
• Registered Pharmacist with active state licensure required.
• Four years of experience in clinical pharmacy preferred.
• Experience coordinating and collaborating with work teams preferred.
• Strong research and implementation skills in practical settings.

Responsibilities

• Clinical evaluation of medication therapy.
• Review Prior Authorization requests using PDL criteria.
• Peer to Peer discussions with medical providers about PA reviews.
• Conduct consultations with prescribers to address outliers and provide clinical information.
• Refine consultation scripts and contribute to scripting improvements.
