Job summary

Altea Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) for post-acute care on a part-time basis. The role involves remote national CCM visits with shifts ranging from early morning to evenings, requiring a Michigan license and DEA registration. Training and mentorship are available for both new grads and experienced providers.

Qualifications

• PA-C license required; eligible to obtain acceptable in Michigan.
• DEA registration current or willingness to obtain prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients' medical records.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribing medications and creating treatment plans.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educating patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Documenting patient care accurately and efficiently.
• Oversee patients’ overall health.
• Promote good health practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
