Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support major electric utility transmission projects. This remote position will focus on schedule development, maintenance, analysis, contractor schedule review, progress tracking, and project reporting.

The ideal candidate will have direct transmission line construction scheduling experience and strong hands-on Primavera P6. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of scheduling experience, CPM expertise, and strong

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional project scheduling experience.
• Direct electric utility T&D experience.
• Direct transmission line construction scheduling experience – required.
• Strong hands-on Primavera P6 experience – required.
• Experience building, baselining, updating, maintaining, and analyzing schedules in P6.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• US work authorization without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed baseline project schedules aligned with scope, milestones, contractual requirements, and project objectives.
• Build, maintain, and update schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track actual progress and identify schedule deviations, risks, and potential delays.
• Analyze critical paths, float, dependencies, constraints, and schedule performance.
• Review contractor schedules for compliance, accuracy, and potential risks.
• Prepare lookahead schedules, milestone reports, critical path reports, and schedule narratives.
• Conduct schedule update meetings and communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve scheduling issues and improve outcomes.
• Support schedule variance analysis and corrective action planning.
• Maintain project reporting and documentation using Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
