Job summary

Slalom is seeking a hands-on P&C Insurance Product Manager to translate insurance needs into technology-enabled product capabilities. This remote, EST-hours role partners with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize development for new products and features.

The ideal candidate combines deep Property & Casualty knowledge with product management experience in a tech environment, capable of owning discovery, backlog prioritization, and roadmap

Qualifications

Strong property & casualty insurance domain knowledge.
Experience creating PRDs, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Experience prioritizing product backlogs and delivering business value.
Ability to translate insurance needs into actionable technical requirements.
Hands-on collaboration with software engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Translate P&C needs into clear product requirements.
Develop PRDs, specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Partner with engineering through design, development, testing and release.
Own discovery, prioritization, roadmap inputs, and release planning.
Collaborate with engineering, design, insurance SMEs, and business leaders.
Apply AI-enabled or specification-driven development practices where appropriate.
