Job summary

Genpact Ltd. is seeking a Specialist - Insurance - P&C Claims to manage an inventory of repair program claim assignments, communicate with contractors, perform estimate reviews, and support client adjusters on insurance restoration projects from a remote base in the United States.

The role requires strong claims management skills, knowledge of P&C insurance, QA practices, and regulatory affairs. Excellent English proficiency and a background in actuarial/science-related studies are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelors degrees in actuarial science, economics, finance, and risk management & insurance; a Masters in statistics.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of active claims and the contractors working on those assignments.
Monitor assignments aging, statuses, and work product.
Daily follow-up regarding open items and communications.
Perform Quality Estimate reviews of Contractor estimates per client estimating guidelines.
Communicate with Contractors regarding clarifications and required changes.
Interact with Client Adjusters and Insureds providing process and technical support.
Record journal or diary notes relating to claim results.
Use tracking systems to manage activity.
Assist with periodic special projects.
Interact with Claim Manager regarding activity, questions, training, and all position needs.
Provide input to company regarding contractor performance.
