Job summary

Midwest Family Mutual is seeking an experienced, customer-focused individual to join our Agent Service Center. This remote role handles accurate data entry and processing of applications, while delivering excellent service to our independent agents and insureds.

Requires 3+ years P&C insurance experience with emphasis on commercial lines, strong communication and call-center skills. In-office travel to IA is occasional; hours are 10:00am–7:00pm CT; dedicated home office and high-speed internet

Qualifications

3+ years of property/casualty insurance experience required.
Strong written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.
Excellent customer service and call-center experience required.
Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a remote, dedicated home office environment.

Responsibilities

Timely review and processing of commercial quotes and new business applications.
Answer billing questions and process payments for customers.
Assist agents via calls, email, live chat/instant messaging.
Assist agents with personal lines changes and quotes.
Work closely with the Underwriting and Marketing departments to deliver our mission.
Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
