RSM is seeking a Property & Casualty Actuary to join Risk & Regulatory Consulting, LLC (RRC). You will work with a team of actuarial professionals on regulatory consulting and insurance engagements, with opportunity for advancement and growth.

This remote role supports US locations, with travel as needed, and emphasizes analyzing reserving, pricing, and risk management for property/casualty clients, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics or Statistics is required.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Property & Casualty insurance or consulting preferred.
• Knowledge of reserving, pricing, ratemaking, and risk management is required.
• Experience with regulatory consulting and/or audit support in Big 4 or consulting is preferred.
• ACAS/FCAS/MAAA designations are a plus.
• Experience with personal and commercial lines and reinsurance is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as part of the actuarial team on client engagements, identifying reserving, pricing, underwriting and reinsurance risks.
• Review rate filings and model reasonableness, assist audit teams with financial statement accruals.
• Prepare actuarial analyses and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet client goals.
