Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an Outside Plant Engineer II to design, upgrade, repair, and enhance telecom OSP networks, including poles, conduit, copper and fiber, and customer premises equipment. Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or technical/science/mathematics fields.
• Proficient computer skills (Windows-based programs and corporate database systems).
• Superior analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Solid written and oral communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Design additions, upgrades, repairs, and enhancements to the Outside Plant electronics network (poles, conduit, copper & fiber).
• Coordinate with multiple departments and maintain direct customer contact with builders, managers, owners, and end users.
• Price out solutions and select the most effective, efficient design within authority.
• Work on Local Law 97 switch decommission tasks related to retired TDM equipment and related OSP equipment.
