Job summary

Rivia Mind seeks a licensed mental health professional to join our multidisciplinary psychotherapy department. You will provide high-quality clinical care, conduct weekly sessions across self-pay, insurance, and Medicare, and maintain a productive, patient-centered schedule.

Responsibilities include intake evaluations, treatment planning, and psychotherapy using CBT/DBT/MI, with telehealth support for diverse populations. We offer growth, supervision, and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Active New York State License (LMSW/MHC-LP)
• License-eligible or hold an active associate-level license or permit (e.g., LMSW, LSW, LAC, MHC or equivalent)
• Completion of licensure examination is preferred
• Certifications in modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR) are a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care consistently in alignment with Rivia Mind’s culture and values
• Conduct weekly patient sessions across self-pay, insurance, and Medicare
• Maintain a consistent weekly patient care schedule in line with productivity expectations
• Follow Care Model practices emphasizing continuity of care and high-frequency follow-ups
• Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop patient-centered treatment plans
• Provide psychotherapy using modalities such as CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing
• Offer clinical support and counseling to diverse patient populations via telehealth
• Coach patients to manage health conditions and support positive behavioral changes
• Counsel and provide crisis intervention when needed
• Ensure timely and thorough session note documentation
• Promote a collaborative, warm work culture and ongoing professional growth
• Perform other related duties as needed by department leadership

Education

Master's in Social Work or related mental health field
