Job summary

Ellie Mental Health is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy across a range of concerns. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, maintain clinical documentation, and deliver evidence-based interventions to support client growth and wellness.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field and active licensure or eligibility, with strong communication and collaboration within a supportive, clinician-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Active state licensure or license eligibility as an LPC-MHSP, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent behavioral health credential.
• Experience completing assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience working with diverse populations and presenting concerns.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems; Valant EHR preferred.
• Fully licensed clinicians are preferred and should ideally be credentialed with major insurance panels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and establish appropriate diagnoses.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans.
• Provide high-quality outpatient therapy services.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plan updates.
• Utilize creative, evidence-based interventions to help clients achieve treatment goals.
• Collaborate with families, schools, medical providers, case managers, and other members of the treatment team as appropriate.
• Deliver exceptional client service and foster a welcoming therapeutic environment.
• Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, trainings, and team collaboration activities.
• Maintain a minimum caseload of 27 client sessions per week for full-time status.
• Perform other duties related to client care and clinical operations as assigned.
