Job summary

North Memorial Health is seeking a Certified Coder II to accurately apply ICD-10-CM and CPT coding for outpatient services in a remote-capable role. The incumbent will ensure proper modifiers, data entry, and compliance with federal regulations to support billing and reimbursement.

Three years of coding experience and a certified credential are required. The position is remote with day/evening shifts and non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• Graduate from approved coding specialist program required.
• Certification through AAPC or AHIMA required.
• Maintenance of certification and continuing education hours required.

Responsibilities

• The Coder II accurately applies ICD-10CM and CPT coding with modifiers, analysis and data entry for inpatient and outpatient services in professional services or hospital settings for billing customer accounts.
• Ensures accurate clinical data base is maintained and compliant with federal regulations and guidelines.
