Job summary

Ambience Healthcare is expanding its outpatient coding and clinical documentation capabilities and is looking for an experienced outpatient coding or CDI professional to support this work on a contract basis. Remote, 1099 contractor role with compensation of $75 per hour paid biweekly; minimum 10 hours per week, with 20–30 hours preferred.

Requires CPC or CCS-P, 3–5+ years of coding/CDI experience, strong ICD-10-CM knowledge, and the ability to provide structured, well-reasoned feedback with

Qualifications

• Active CPC or CCS-P credential.
• 3–5+ years of coding/CDI experience across clinical specialties.
• Strong working knowledge of ICD-10-CM guidelines.
• E/M and CPT guideline experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Review outpatient encounters and determine accurate ICD-10-CM codes.
• Provide expert feedback with clear, structured reasoning.
• Identify documentation gaps and advise on remediation.
• Deliver consistent, timely outputs with minimal supervision.
