Job summary

ChristianaCare's Outpatient Behavioral Health department seeks a compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist II to provide office-based assessments and therapy to a diverse patient population in Wilmington.

You will conduct individual psychotherapy and group sessions, develop treatment plans with the team, and ensure timely documentation and communication with physicians and psychiatric providers to support patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree qualifying for licensure in the state.
• LCSW preferred; MFTs and MHCs require 2–3 years post-master’s supervised experience and licensure to bill.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individual psychotherapy with assigned patients and group therapy sessions.
• Conducts psychosocial evaluations to provide diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations.
• Develops coordinated treatment plan in collaboration with other members of the treatment team.
• Reports and updates pertinent patient information to physician and treatment team in a timely manner.
• Coordinates care with medical and psychiatric providers inside and outside ChristianaCare.
• Completes clinical documentation accurately and timely.
