Job summary

Cadmatic is seeking an Application Specialist, Outfitting to support the US market from a remote home office in Virginia, Mississippi, or Louisiana. You’ll deploy, train, and advise customers on Cadmatic Outfitting workflows, with frequent customer interactions and occasional site visits.

The role requires 3+ years in shipbuilding/outfitting and strong communication; C++ basics are a plus. Authorization to work in the US is required; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in shipbuilding/outfitting design or 3D CAD.
• Strong knowledge of the U.S. marine industry; naval env. appreciated.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer-facing experience.
• Basic programming knowledge (C++) is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for customers from deployment through daily use.
• Provide technical support and training for Cadmatic Outfitting.
• Advise on piping, machinery layout and outfitting design workflows.
• Troubleshoot technical questions in daily use.
• Run training sessions remotely and at customer sites.
• Participate in sales process with software demonstrations.
• Turn customer feedback into input for product development.
