Job summary

SpaceXSI seeks a remote linguistic annotator to train Grok's Oromo language capabilities. You will annotate multilingual audio, translate UI content into Oromo, and help produce natural, prosodic speech data.

Applicants should be fluent in Oromo (C1) and English (B2+); prior annotation/translation or audio production experience is a plus. Remote work from approved countries with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Oromo proficiency at CEFR C1 level or higher.
• English proficiency at CEFR B2 level or higher.
• Experience in multilingual audio annotation, transcription, or linguistics is a plus.
• Experience with translation/localization of UI or product content between English and Oromo is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Annotate, label, and provide feedback on multilingual audio clips and speech samples using proprietary tools.
• Translate and localize text from English into Oromo with accuracy and natural phrasing.
• Produce clear, natural audio data capturing prosodic details such as intonation and rhythm.
• Collaborate with technical staff to refine annotation guidelines and tools for accents and background noise.
