Job summary

SpaceXSI is seeking a remote contributor to train and refine Grok's Oromo language capabilities. You will annotate multilingual audio, translate UI copy and prompts, and ensure natural phrasing and cultural fit.

The role emphasizes pronunciation, prosody, and regional accents to improve product understanding globally. The position offers flexible hours as a remote role with 6-month terms and potential extensions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Oromo at CEFR C1 level or higher.
• English proficiency at CEFR B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Annotate, label, and provide feedback on multilingual audio clips using proprietary tools.
• Translate and localize text from English into Oromo with attention to accuracy and cultural fit.
• Produce clear, natural audio data capturing prosodic details such as intonation, rhythm, and accent.
• Collaborate with technical staff to refine annotation guidelines and tools for multilingual audio.
