Job summary

Bentley Systems seeks a Resident Consultant to serve as an ORD subject matter expert embedded with the Louisiana Department of Transportation. You will coach, train, and configure ORD to fit DOT workflows, delivering statewide resources and training materials.

The role requires collaboration with DOT, periodic on-site visits, and a strong background in civil design and infrastructure projects. This is a full-time, home-based position with travel to Baton Rouge as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent experience.
5+ years with ORD and MicroStation.
Familiarity with drainage, survey, and bridge design is a plus.
Experience with infrastructure projects and transportation workflows.
Knowledge of Bentley workspaces and ProjectWise configuration.
Experience creating training materials or videos.

Responsibilities

Provide coaching, training and support for Bentley ORD and related tools.
Configure Bentley applications to meet DOT standards and workflows.
Collaborate with Louisiana DOT to define requirements and develop statewide training resources.
Travel to the Louisiana DOT office in Baton Rouge (min. four on-site visits per year).
Embed with Louisiana DOT as a full-time home-based role and ensure user success.
Support civil design and CADD workflows within ORD.
